A family argument over school fees turned into a violent confrontation inside a home in Abia State.

Abigail Njoku and her two children, Queeneth and Emmanuel, were accused of killing Boniface Njoku after a fight between the couple escalated and the children intervened. By the following morning, Boniface was dead, and the family would eventually find themselves at the centre of a case that reached Nigeria's Supreme Court.
