Well, most people would say you just have to go on TikTok and look out for the famous Tik Tokers and see what they post, how they presented and try to replicate that and you'll break into the market. Others would say, post everyday, bombard everyone's feed with your videos. Just keep posting and posting and posting. Eventually you're going to crack the algorithm. Well, others would say you just have to start. Whether you know exactly what you're doing, whether it's perfect or not, just start.

0:39 Chances are you're not even going to get an audience when you begin. So use the time to perfect your craft and by the time you start getting an audience, you know exactly what you're doing and over time you will start providing value. And that's how you become an influencer. I happen to be one of those people that believe you just have to start whether you're sure of what you're doing or not. You don't have to wait until it's perfect or you're exactly sure. Just learn as you go. And that's also what I do personally.

1:07 I learn as I go. So that would be my answer. But at this point is trying to feel like a social experiment to me. So I thought, let me ask my partner what he thinks I should do if I wanted to be an influencer today. And he said, well, context, he works in the media and entertainment industry. So this was his answer. He said you need a very good video, your video quality needs to be the best that it literally stops people from scrolling. And if your video quality is good, some people might just find your video S soothing or calming or easy on the eyes that they will watch anyway.

Camera preferably as a starter you need Sony A7S34K120 frames per second 10 bits full frame, great low light, superb AF. For lens you need 24 to 70 millimeter 2.8 F stop GM2. For mic you need DJI mic 2 dual wireless. For lights you need aperture Amaran 200 KS key and you need two times P60C fill and back plus soft boxes and for tripod and gimbal you need man photo B3 plus DJIRS 3 mini. And for settings, video settings, you need 30 to 60 frames per second shutter, 2.8 F stop ISO less than 810 bits S sine tone.

He said this should give you a beautiful video quality that will literally stop the scroll, get your followers, get you an audience that you can influence. But on a more realistic level, given people's attention span today and what we call entertainment and what people generally focus or are drawn to and how people consume content today. I believe that there are two things that can make you an influencer, no doubt today, which are either you are very talented, you're super unique, or you're shameless.

3:31 One or the other. Those are the only two things that will make you stand out today. Become an influenza because there's literally nothing you will do that no one else has done. And yes, you can give it a piece of yourself and people might even turn around and criticize that. But to stand out, I think you're so unique, so, so special at what you do that the world has to give you your flowers or you're so shameless to the point that if the world throws lemons at you, you grab those lemons, you make lemonades and you sip it in front of the world.

4:02 Pick 1 Today, we're not talking about a true Crime Story. We're talking about a story that was circulating on the social media for a while now in Nigeria. And I think probably some parts of the world, some people heard of it too. I don't know if you did, but yeah, I I did because half my audience on my feet's online or Nigerians. So I do get Nigerian jest even though I'm not there. Disclaimer, today's case is not about true crime. It's about a viral story that's been circulating online. And this is not to glorify anything or to accuse anyone or to condemn anyone.

4:36 It's just a situation that's really viral in Nigeria. And because we talk about Nigerian cases, I thought this should be a light case, a little break from all the killings and the violence. So please consume responsibly. No judgement, no accusations, just a little light case. Today's case is about a girl that goes by the online Monica Mandy kiss. I will not be using her actual legal name because of two reasons. Most people don't know her by her actual name. They know her by her online Monica which is Mandy Kiss and it's best to use the name that most people know.

5:15 And also her legal first name ends with POSI. Her name is a traditional name. I know I'm not going to say the way it is said. How do I say POSI without it sounding like something else? So I'm just going to keep that out. Mandy Kiss was born March 16, 2000, and that would make her 25 years old. She cracked this code back in 2018 when I just said that to become an influencer today and break in and get the whole world to see you, at least the whole world around you, where you live or where you exist and you have to be unique or shameless.

5:53 She built her online persona around one thing and one thing alone, and so many people threw rocks at her for that reason. But she had her reasons for doing what she did, and she knew why she did it, so she stuck by it. Why are we talking about her today if she's just an online influencer? Have you heard of recently like a month ago I think or a month and a half ago, a Nigerian famous chef broke a world record, Guinness World Record of cooking the largest pot of jollof rice. I know you know who I'm talking about.

6:26 She had initially back in I think 2023, she did break a world record, a cook marathon. This year, she broke another record of cooking the largest pot of jollof rice. So while the news is ongoing online and she wins it and the buzz the whole country is celebrating, we're all happy that she's done it again. Mandy Case realizes, oh, nobody's talking about me. They have to talk about me too. So she comes online with an announcement. The announcement took everyone by storm. Mandy Case, just after her secondary school days, decided that she wants to be a vlogger, you know, make videos on TikTok like everyone else at the time.

7:13 And she came from a humble background. And she says that was her motivation for becoming a Tik toker because she realized she could make money online. So she starts to make videos and her entire content was built around sex work. She will talk about sex work and give advice to other women who are in the business and just generally talk about it. And over time, she self-proclaimed herself president of Olucio. And Olucio is a Nigerian word for sex worker. So she proclaims herself the president of sex workers and she said that her family, her parents were not happy with her online persona.

7:56 And they always told her that that we're uncomfortable with your persona, the kind of contents you post online. But she knew if she comes online and starts teaching people one thing or the other or how to do this, how to do that or educational content, people might likely not even listen or watch it. But if she breaks your your scroll with do this, do that, do this, do that as a sex worker, you're likely to be like what the pause and watch and that converts to engagement and that converts to money for her.

8:27 So she explained to her family, this is not what I do. This is not who I am. This is why I do this. If I don't shock the world, they won't even notice me. So I do this so I can make money online, but it doesn't mean I'm doing any of that. And as we know, the Internet has made a lot of people go crazy. I recently started using Facebook and the things I see there. Sometimes I wish I wasn't on Facebook or I wish I could just Unsee it. I wish I could go back just a few seconds before to avoid that video.

8:57 People are doing the most on Facebook just to be monetized or just because they are monetized. Majority of the self-proclaimed bloggers or content creators, they're all the shameless ones that do literally anything. No moment is private, nothing is sacred, everything is put out there. She herself was talking about these things. She wasn't doing these things in her videos. And people would say to her, I think she does this thing because you, you talk about something that you're knowledgeable on, especially most of your contents are built around this thing.

9:36 You must have some experience, some expertise. So it must be that's who she is. But I believe it's not who she is. I am not going to vouch for anyone, neither am I going to accuse anyone of anything. But I'd say personally speaking, I don't think that's what she she does or did because if that was what she did, because there were so many people that were like combing through her life looking into her to see any proof to show the world, yes. She's not just all talks, she does it too. Nothing surfaced.

10:05 If it was a lifestyle that she was living, I'm sure there would be someone who comes across a video and then meets her in real life once and like, OK, so she really does what she says and then takes a proof and posts it online. But I scoured everywhere. I didn't see anything that looked promiscuous that was like, oh, this is a leaked proof that she wasn't just talks. So she said, yeah, she she she comforted her family with the knowledge that that wasn't what she did. It was just an online persona.

10:35 But that's still not enough to dedicate an entire episode to her. So why are we talking about her today? After the whole wave of this famous chef of breaking a world record, Mandy comes online and announces on TikTok. I believe that she was attempting to break a world record. What's the world record? She wants to sleep with 100 men in 24 hours to break the world record. So she post this online and everyone's like, what is wrong with this girl? What is she doing? So many people were commenting, Are you sure you can survive it?

11:11 Are you sure you want to do this? Can you survive 100 men and 24 hours? Others were saying you're trying to send some innocent men to prison because you're not going to make it out of that and then these people will be arrested for killing you. When you call it upon yourself, rethink your decision. Don't do this. And she was the topic. I never post at that time. When did she announce this? She posted it on September September 22nd, 2025 S two months ago, she posted it on her TikTok that she was going to attempt the breaking of the world record and the very next day Guinness World Record responded to her announcement.

11:52 They responded to clarify in their words, this is not a record we monitor. And once they responded, guess what Mandy did take a guess. What would you do if you post it online? Oh, I'm going to attempt this and I want world record to Guinness World Record to record that I did this and then they respond to you. No, this is not a record we monitor. What would you do? Probably not say anything lead die of I don't know, but Monday claps back by posting If they don't record it, I will record it myself.

12:26 No context, nothing left for us to interpret. If it is. If Guinness World Record doesn't record my attempt, I will record it myself. Or if I am attempting this world record and my activity is not being recorded, then I will record it myself. It's unsure, but her response was if they don't record it, I will record it myself. At this time, she's going viral is the talk of the town, everyone's talking about her online and the ruler of Ogun State which she's originally from Ogun State but lives in Lagos because she was born and raised in Lagos, The ruler of Ogun State decides to take matters into his own hands.

13:10 So the ruler of Ogun State writes a letter to the governor of Lagos State and I will read parts of the letter to you. The letter partly says Mr. Governor, it is this hard turning to see a Yoruba girl from my dear state, a gun state popularly known as Mandy kiss on social media planning to embarrass her parents, local government area and state before the entire world for her readiness to have sex with 100 boys men within 24 hours in Ikorodu, Laker State on 30th September 2025 with a view to putting her name in the Guinness World Record.

13:49 From my assessment, I do not think the lady in question knows the implication of what she's venturing into. If she knows she will not attempt the planned ugly incident, can she really survive what she plans to do? I'm sure that men of the Nigerian Police force will start arresting boys slash men in Ikarudu if the ill mannered lady dies as a result of the nonsense she's planning. The best approach to adopt is to arrest a lady who is currently constituting public nuisance. She's insisting that she will go ahead with her plan despite the rejection of her disgraceful proposal by the Guinness World Record.

14:23 Your Excellency, Lagos State is her home state and the home state of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is Siwaju Bula Ahmad Tinubu, GCFR, the president and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria. So Mandy Kiss whose attitude makes her look like a mentally unstable person should not be allowed to stigmatize the name the Lagos State has built for many decades. Lagos State that parades a very disciplined First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Lurami Tinibu and other great people with rich culture and highly religious and revered personalities should not allow the ill mannered Mandy kids to destroy her Lagos State's image of excellence.

Let me also propose that after arresting Mandy Kiss, she should be sent back to her parents in Ogun State where my no nonsense Governor, Prince Dapo Abeodon will direct her rearrest for the purpose of sending her to her rehabilitation center like a psychiatric hospital for her insanity to be removed without mincing words. The conduct of Mandy Kiss and her Co travellers has now necessitated the need for the Federal Government of Nigeria to regulate the way our youths behave especially on social media.

15:42 The moral decay in the society needs to be given a priority attention before anything goes out of hand. Our children who go on Internet for legitimate reasons will be exposed to seeing the errant nonsense that some content creators like Mandy Kiss engage in and this practice may increase number of youths that will be engaged in social vices. As we all know, some countries where socially unacceptable films are done regulate activities of such practitioners on social media platforms. So, Nigeria will not be an exemption if she toes the noble way of regulating activities of the morally deficient youths on the Internet.

16:18 Finally, let me also admonish Lagos State Governor to consider the possibility of inviting the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, to extend an invitation to Mandy Kiss for a drug test because the aren't nonsense she is doing is really showing that she may be under the influence of drugs. Finally, as a traditional ruler, Christian and somebody who loves culture and tradition, I will appreciate it if a drastic measure is urgently taken to stop the mentally unstable Lady Mandy Kiss from carrying out the societal plan of having sex with 100 boys slash men within 24 hours in a Kurudu Liga state on 30th September 2025.

16:57 Taking this pertinent step will enable our children not to emulate bad behavior. They will always use their time for some meaningful and productive things. Once the letter was known publicly that this request has been made for her to be arrested because she's influencing the youths in a very negative way, she makes an online announcement. She posts online on Instagram explaining that she didn't intend to carry on with it, that it was just a prank, that she wanted to see if she was still relevant.

17:36 And in her own words, she said I was just trying to see if I was still relevant. Everywhere was dry on my page. So I came up with the idea to boost engagement and get adverts. She's like, it's a prank everyone, it's a prank, calm down, please, please don't arrest me. It was a prank. And I mean, she cannot be arrested for throwing a prank on everyone. She cannot once that explanation was made public because she posted it online. That's what happened. And she doesn't do drugs because people were thinking, OK, she must be high on something.

18:09 She must be really, really intoxicated, probably drugs. That's why she's doing this, because no young girl with her clear senses will attempt something like this. And she said, no, I don't do drugs and no, I wasn't going to do it. So please, after that explanation that she gives, the state Commissioner for Youth and Social Development announces on his ex page that Mandy Kiss has been endorsed as the ambassador for last CADA. So in his post on X these are his exact words. So I will just read that to you instead.

18:44 Part of what he post online said Mandy Kiss had initially declared her intent to attempt this record. But as a governor that listens, we heard our subsequent expressions and responded swiftly with empathy. In an atmosphere of understanding and responsibility, we engage candid discussions, assessed the situation, and explored healthier, more constructive paths forward. We recognized the importance of mental health and emotional Wellness, and we're steadfast in our commitment to promoting these and crafting inclusive interventions.

Mandy Kids has been appointed Ambassador of Lascada, Lagos State kicks against drug abuse, partnering with us in combating drug abuse and substance misuse among youths in Lagos. I couldn't wish any better for her and I really hope if you're also out there and you think the odds are against you, sometimes you have to go out there and grab these opportunities.

Yes, I'm not saying you have to be shameless online and do whatever to make money, but sometimes we just have to do what people think we shouldn't do. OK I'm lost I don't even know the advice I'm trying to give anymore. I was trying to give some sort of advice but I got lost along the way. So do what's best for you. I think that's it do what is good for you, do what is best for you as long as it does not hurt or affect others negatively.
